THE ARMOR OF GOD
(Make a GOOD confession of faith)
“I am prosperous, I am healthy, my soul prospers in the knowledge of Jesus .. even Jesus the Word. Everything I put my hand to prospers. I cannot be conquered, I cannot fail. For me to fail, God's Word would have to fail and God's Word NEVER fails. The Greater One lives in me and He helps me succeed. He has given me great abilities. Father God has made me the Righteousness of God in Christ. That’s what I have and that's who I am."
At our men’s ministry breakfast yesterday, part of what we discussed was David wearing someone else’s armor . . . we all laughed at how awkward he must have felt .. but …
KNOW THIS .. THE ARMOR OF GOD WILL FIT YOU PERFECTLY !!
WHEN YOU WEAR GOD’S ARMOR, THE ENEMY DOES NOT KNOW WHETHER ITS YOU OR JESUS …
In these last days, we need to be STRONG men & women of God .. I’m here today to teach YOU how to be strong using God’s strength.
Eph 6:10-20 NKJV
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, (What IS the armor of God? – Its basically Jesus, the Word of God, and the NAME of Jesus) that you may be able to stand against the Wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual . . . wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Some of you have ALREADY taken up the armor; spoken faith filled words and are expecting the fruit to come. Let me point out to you .. Jon Hawley with the healing of his eye, Stan Cool with the miraculous provision and continued health of his kidney, Mark Gleuk and the supernatural healing of his neck, and Bob Wessel and the supernatural healing of his back – they took up the armor – they prayed – others took up the armor and prayer with them – they stood and THEY RECEIVED WHAT THEY NEEDED !!)
14 Stand therefore,
having girded your waist with truth,

4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.. . and . . .

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.)
having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
(2 Cor 5:21)
15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
(Are you PREPARED .. if someone asked YOU to show them they way of salvation?)
Basically John 3:16, John 1:12, and Romans 10:9-10 write these down .. we will go over them 2 points from now . . .
16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery Darts of the wicked one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, (John 3:16, John 1:12, and Romans 10:9-10)
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; (What is this armor FOR?)
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints --19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
FINAL POINT . . .
When I first learned about the armor of God, the preacher said, “Every morning, go through the motions of putting on the armor of God.” WASTE OF TIME – TIME TO GROW – let me put a handle on this so you can TAKE IT HOME. Don’t ever take the armor off !! Sleep in it !! Don’t leave home without it !!! (Ending Prayers . . .
