WHAT TO DO WHEN FAITH SEEMS WEAK, AND VICTORY LOST

#1.) ACT LIKE GOD’S WORD IS TRUE:

Dr. Hagin tells the story of a church he pastored .. money was tight, attendance was low .. there were troubles in the people of the congregation .. they were having a board meeting .. everyone was worried saying, “What do we do?” Dr. Hagin (then Pastor Hagin) said, “I’ll tell you what we’re gonna do .. WE’RE GONNA ACT LIKE GOD’S WORD IS TRUE”. Then the board members all sighed a sigh of relief :)

Phil 4:19 (KJV)

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

What does the Word say about our faith (referring to when we feel like our faith is WEAK)?:

Heb 12:2 (KJV)

2 Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Heb 12:2 (KJV)

2 Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR (747 GREEK -archegos)

1) the chief leader, prince;

used of Christ

2) one that takes the lead in anything and thus affords an example, a predecessor in a matter, a pioneer

3) the author

and FINISHER (5051 GREEK - teleiotes (tel-i-o-tace');)

a completer, i.e. consummater:

of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

#2.) SPEND MORE TIME IN THE WORD OF GOD:

Josh 1:8 (KJV)

8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

ONLY those who are serious about God’s Word will have the SUCCESS and COMPLETE provision that God wants for you ! !

#3.) GIVE GLORY TO GOD & #4.) BE FULLY PERSUADED THAT GOD WILL DO WHAT HE SAID:

Rom 4:17-22 (NIV)

17 As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed-- the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

19 WITHOUT WEAKENING IN HIS FAITH, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead-- since he was about a hundred years old-- and that Sarah's womb was also dead.

20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and #3.)GAVE GLORY TO GOD,

21 #4.)BEING FULLY PERSUADED THAT GOD HAD POWER TO DO WHAT HE HAD PROMISED.

22 This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness."

#5.) CONSIDER HIM:

Heb 12:2-3(NIV)

2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 CONSIDER HIM who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
