How many psychologists does it tale to change a light bulb .. only ONE, but the light bulb has to WANT to change.

In studying revival over the years, I have always seen PRAYER preceding revival, BUT THAT is NOT the key. HUNGRY PRAYER IS ! ! !

Matt 5:6 (NIV)
6 BLESSED are those who HUNGER AND THIRST for righteousness, for THEY WILL BE FILLED.

I have had the pleasure recently to fellowship with and teach some HUNGRY Christians and I CAME AWAY INSPIRED ! !
WHAT BROUGHT THE PRODIGAL SON BACK ??
Luke 15:11-24 (KJV)
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with . . . . . . . . . . . HUNGER! (HUNGER BROUGHT THE PRODIGAL SON BACK ! ! !)
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

INTENSE DESIRE found in HELL:
Luke 16:19-31 (NIV)
19 "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.
20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores
21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.
23 In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
24 So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the TIP OF HIS FINGER IN WATER AND COOL MY TONGUE, BECAUSE I AM IN AGONY IN THIS FIRE.' (In HELL, the REALITY of spiritual life has hit home .. the INTENSITY of his desire is shown - Oh that WE would be THAT INTENSE about our prayers in the LAND of the LIVING !)
25 "But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.
26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
27 "He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house,
28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'
29 "Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'
30 "'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'
31 "He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'"

FINALLY, look at this well known song (Psalm):
Ps 42:1-2 (NIV)
1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so MY SOUL PANTS FOR YOU, O GOD.
2 MY SOUL THIRSTS FOR GOD, FOR THE LIVING GOD. WHEN CAN I GO AND MEET WITH GOD?
STARING NEXT WEEK, the church will be open at 9:30 am EVERY Sunday morning for prayer .. HOW HUNGRY & THIRSTY ARE YOU ??

John 7:37-39 (KJV)
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man THIRST, LET HIM COME UNTO ME, and drink. (If WE would only THIRST for Jesus, then we would TRULY come to Him ! )
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Once again:
Matt 5:6 (NIV)
6 BLESSED are those who HUNGER AND THIRST for righteousness, for THEY WILL BE FILLED.
Lets make a DECISION today to SEEK the Lord .. to be HUNGRY for Him .. to seek REVIVAL in our community .. to be HUNGRY for revival - YOU WILL ALWAYS DO what you are HUNGRY to do: God, . . . GRANT us to be HUNGRY Again ! ! !
..........................................
Ps 63:1-5 (KJV)
1 O God, thou art my God; EARLY WILL I SEEK THEE: MY SOUL THIRSTETH FOR THEE, MY FLESH LONGETH FOR THEE IN A DRY AND THIRSTY LAND, WHERE NO WATER IS;
2 TO SEE THY POWER AND THY GLORY, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
